The Dallas Wings chose UConn star Paige Bueckers (right) as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday night.
Sports reporters are ecstatic since Paige is rumored to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Paige has been romantically linked to several men in the past, including basketball player Spencer Rattler and NBA star Jalen Suggs. However, her fans insist she is dating former UConn teammate Azzi Fudd.
Paige and Azzi teamed up to defeat defending champion South Carolina in a blowout 82-59 win in the 2025 NCAA championship game.

Paige, 23, and Azzi, 22, have not confirmed the rumors that they are lovers. But the two are seemingly inseparable.
Azzi announced that she will not enter the WNBA draft this year. Instead, she will return to UConn for her final year of eligibility (and NIL money).
Paige is not nearly as talented as Caitlin Clark on the basketball court. She probably won’t match Caitlin’s record-breaking rookie season.
Caitlin, 23, was subjected to abuse and harassment in her rookie season because she is a White heterosexual superstar in a league dominated by Black lesbians.
However, Paige is expected to get a pass in her rookie season because of who she loves.
