Sexyy Red’s Kentucky fans are furious after she made them wait 7 hours before she walked out on stage at the Rupp Arena in Lexington on March 30.
Rapper Young Thug’s girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, who opened for Sexyy Red, apologized for the delay. Mariah explained that she was waiting backstage to come out, but the show was disorganized.
“I’ve been in the back waiting for 3 1/2 hours because the show is unorganized af,” Mariah said. “And I’ve never been to Lexington, but this is not the best representation. I don’t know who put this show on, but when you walk home tonight you need to pray to god.”
Cell phone video shows fans waiting impatiently for Red, who was scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. She finally showed up around 2 a.m. and performed to a nearly empty house for about 20 minutes.
Fans who got tired of waiting walked out and demanded refunds. They took to social media to complain about ungrateful celebrities like Sexyy Red who take their money and disrespect them.
