
Rapper Slim Thug says thieves broke into his Houston penthouse and stole all of his valuables, jewelry and cash while he was out of town.
The home invasion happened while Slim Thug was cheering on the Houston Cougars at the 2025 NCAA men’s basketball finals in San Antonio, Texas on April 7.
According to the Houston Police Department, thieves broke into the luxury penthouse apartment between 3:30 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. on Monday. They stole jewelry, cash, and other valuables.
In a livestream video, Slim Thug said insurance won’t cover all of his losses.
Surveillance footage shows the burglars entering and exiting the building which has security. HPD also revealed that security spotted a door that had been forced open.
The crooks knew Slim Thug was out of town when they broke in.
Police warn high-value individuals not to go live on social media or post photos when they are out of town.
Thieves often monitor social media of high-profile celebrities and break into their homes when they are out of town.
In December, former Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic’s Dallas home was burglarized while he was on a road trip with the team.
