2X Olympic gold medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is under fire for destroying the field in a parents race at her son’s school in Jamaica.
Drone footage shows Fraser-Pryce leaving the other parents in her dust after a false start gave her a huge advantage.
The other parents didn’t stand a chance against the world class sprinter.
The footage shows the world’s third fastest woman jumping the gun at the start of the race. She quickly leaves the other parents behind on her way to a record-breaking finish.
Fraser-Pryce, 38, was the first Jamaican woman to win the 100m gold medal at Beijing 2008 Olympics. She defended her title in London in 2012.
Fraser-Pryce last raced at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. She withdrew from the 100m semi-final due to injury.
Social media users dragged Fraser-Pryce for showing poor sportsmanship.
One X user wrote: “That match was total unfair. Shelly holds an incredible competitive advantage.”
Another person wrote: “Her ability is impressive, but this is like an NBA player beating some high school kids in a pick-up game—no honor.”
A third person commented: “She waited years for this moment.”
