Actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker posed with their children, Sophie and Nicolas, at Max Original’s “And Just Like That” Season 3 Photo Call at Crane Club on Wednesday, May 21, in New York City.
In her interview with Us Weekly, Nicole, 54, remembers when she met Boris, 52, on set of the TV series “Soul Food.”
“He’s pretty breathtaking, gorgeous, but I was a bit of a snob,” Nicole told Us Weekly. “One night, we were doing a scene, and his character was supposed to sexily lean me against a wall and kiss me. He was so nervous, adorable and shy.”
Nicole took matters into her own hands. “I took him behind the set, put my hands on his face and kissed him,” she remembered. “I said, ‘That is how you kiss!’ And then I fell in love.”
Nicole and Boris tied the knot in 2005 in his hometown of Gundelfingen, Germany. That same year, they welcomed their daughter, Sophie. Their son, Nicolas, followed in 2006.
