King Von was a 26-year-old Chicago drill rapper who was fatally shot during a fight in Atlanta in 2020. Since then, he has become a legend to young men who aspire to be drill rappers.
Taesha honors her son, Dayvon Daquan Bennett, by sharing his story and commissioning murals of him around Chicago. She was instrumental in releasing his posthumous album, Grandson.
She also uses her growing platform to inspire young women to make the best of their natural bodies.
