The WNBA is reportedly investigating Angel Reese reposting a racist meme targeting Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark.
The WNBA previously launched an investigation into alleged racist slurs toward Reese that never happened.
Reese reposted a racist TikTok meme trolling her “white gyal” rival Clark.
The meme shows Clark walking away fouling Reese during the Fever’s season opener against the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana on Saturday.

Clark later said the flagrant 1 foul was a “basketball play” – and Reese agreed in her postgame interview.
However, Reese reposted a TikTok screenshot that shows her intense reaction after Clark fouled Reese.
The screengrab was captioned: “white gyal running from the fade.”

The screengrab no longer appears on Reese’s TikTok feed.
“Do something to protect Clark or she’ll be gone”
The backlash on X (Twitter) was swift. One person wrote: “Why is the WNBA okay with race baiting when it’s a white woman?”
Another person wrote: “@WNBA. I found the racist you’re looking for: AKA Angel Reese.”
A third person commented: “WNBA needs to suspend her already. Do something to protect Clark or she’ll be gone and you’ll be back to being irrelevant. I’ve never seen a league try and crash out like the WNBA! No place for racism!”
After beating the Chicago Sky in their season opener, the Indiana Fever lost to the Atlanta Dream by 1 point at home on Tuesday night.
The Fever (1-1) will try to even the score against the Dream (1-1) on Thursday, May 22, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
