Megan Thee Stallion raved about her NBA boyfriend Klay Thompson in a new interview. The new couple made their relationship Instagram official last week.
Their relationship made a commotion in the sport and hip-hop worlds.
Megan and Klay made their first official appearance together at Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City on Wednesday, July 16.
Megan and Klay walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet. They stopped and gazed into each other’s eyes before sharing a kiss in front of the cameras.
After the event, Megan gushed over Klay in interviews on the red carpet.
“I have never dated somebody so kind,” the rap superstar told Page Six. “This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy,” she added.
She continued: “I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
Other stars attending the gala include Taraji P. Henson, Muni Long, D-Nice, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
According to the website, Megan established the foundation to honor the memories of her mother Holly Thomas and her father Joseph Pete III.
