President Donald Trump is seriously considering pardoning his former pal Sean “Puffy” Combs after the rap mogul was found guilty on 2 counts of prostitution.
A Trump administration source told Deadline the president is “seriously” considering pardoning his former friend.
However, a source told Page Six: “The White House will not confirm or deny pardons that may or may not happen.”
In May, Trump first revealed that he might pardon Combs if the rapper was convicted of RICO charges.

“I would certainly look at the facts if I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me,” Trump said at the time.
But Trump also noted that no one in Combs’ camp asked him for a pardon. Combs campaigned for former President Joe Biden, and he said some unsavory things about Trump.
“He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics … that relationship busted up, from what I read,” Trump said about Combs.
“I don’t know — he didn’t tell me that, but I’d read some little bit nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden,” the president added.
In a partial verdict earlier this month, a jury convicted Combs of transporting his own girlfriends (Cassie Ventura and a Jane Doe) across state lines to party with him and other men.
The maximum sentence for the midemeanor prostitution charge is 10 months on each count, according to Judge Mathis.
Combs will be sentenced in October, after spending more than a year in a Brooklyn jail.
Combs’ legal team requested a $50 million bond on Tuesday. Friends say Combs is eager to go home because his children’s spending is out of control. He’s worried he will be broke when he’s finally released from jail.
