Singer Ciara sat down with award-winning radio personality Ryan Cameron of “Ryan Cameron Uncensored” to promote her new album, CiCi.
The mom-of-4 complimented her husband, Russell Wilson, who is deeply religious and devoted to his Christian faith.
Ciara said the NFL quarterback’s Christian faith is one of the sexiest things about him.
“That’s one of the sexiest things about him to me to be honest with you. I love that,” she said. “From day one, I actually prayed for a God fearing man and he was that. I love how he can bust out the Word and educate me.”
Russell, their daughter Sienna and Ciara’s son Zahir attended Ciara’s album signing event in New York City on August 22.
In a previous interview, Ciara said she recorded her new album independently as a “thank you” for her fans’ “unwavering support.”
The 39-year-old Atlanta native says buying her own masters marked a new phase in her career.
“It’s an empowering feeling owning my masters. I asked for my masters back and they gave them to me for free,” she said.
“That lets you know how much they didn’t believe [in me], but I’m so glad I never stopped believing … in myself. And I’m also so glad that my fans never stopped believing,” she added.
She released the project on her own independent label because she didn’t want to fight record label executives over her ideas.
