Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are still going strong as a power couple in the Hip-Hop and sports worlds.
However, DJ Akademiks isn’t convinced that their relationship is a genuine love match.
On a recent livestream, Akademiks called Megan and Klay’s romance a “PR relationship” in reaction to Megan’s viral TikTok video that shows her feeding Klay catfish and spaghetti.
Klay said the meal was the best he’d ever tasted and he called it his “favorite”. But his body language wasn’t very convincing.
In fact, Akademiks says Klay looked “scared”, “terrified” and “petrified” while Megan was cooking for him in her home, which was in disarray with clothes strewn everywhere.
Friends say Klay wasn’t raised in an untidy household.
Akademiks said he thinks Klay is “scared of her, as he should…”
He went into detail, saying Klay is a “non-problematic” NBA star and that Megan wants access to a wider audience.
Akademiks believes that Megan is trying to show that she can be in “regular relationships.” He notes that Megan and Klay have heavily documented their relationship on social media – something that Klay has shied away from doing in his past relationships.
“She got a camera in this n–a’s face every 20 seconds!” Akademiks said.
Akademiks joins NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and others who claim the relationship is a publicity stunt.
During an episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq” last month, the NBA Hall of Famer said Klay and Megan would last “Six weeks.”
Akademiks said they won’t make it until the All-Star break and that if they do, Klay will be on “injured reserve – and it might not be a basketball injury.”
