Former rapper Blueface is unrecognizable in new prison photos circulating on social media. The photos show Blueface swollen and nearly completely covered in prison tattoos.
Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, showed off his body transformation after working out in the prison yard.
This is what Blueface looked like before he began serving his sentence in 2024.
The 28-year-old “Thotiana” rapper was arrested in 2021 and charged with assaulting a security guard at a nightclub in San Fernando Valley.
On August 9, 2024 Blueface was sentenced to 4 years in prison for violating his probation. The rapper was given plenty of chances to stay out of prison.
He is currently serving his sentence at Lancaster State Prison in California.
His mother, Karlissa, was heartbroken when he received his sentence. “My baby is in jail and my heart is broken again. Because they don’t listen,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories in 2024.
In an updated video post, Karlissa reacted to people asking if her son is taking steroids in prison. She answers at the 5:01 minute mark of the video.
“No. He can’t – how the hell is he gon’ get some steroids? He barely getting some gd food in there,” she said.
In response to a YouTube user saying depression causes weight gain, Karlissa responded, “I think if he was gon’ be depressed that would’ve been much earlier on. I think he’s very excited to get out and make his moves. He has a new love interest. She’s very supportive. Not just, you know… in jail, but she’s helping him write and organize his life, his thinking… and put his plans on paper. You f*** around and get a Virgo, you might actually be real successful ’cause we gon’ make you believe some sht and we gon’ make you put some sht in order.”
