Atlanta’s own Rasheeda Frost went viral over the weekend as TikTok users recorded themselves offering free tickets to Rasheeda’s upcoming concert.

Rasheeda, 49, is set to rock the house in concert at Piedmont Park in Atlanta on Saturday, October 25. But most Gen-Zers know Rasheeda as a reality TV star on Love & Hip-Hop – not for her music.

Instead of giving Rasheeda her flowers, young people mocked her on social media. Like she’s not a real artist with certified hits.

They’re too young to remember when Rasheeda was a member of Da Kaperz. Or her solo regional hit songs such as “Marry Me,” “My Bubble Gum” or “Legs to the Moon” (featuring Kandi) in 2013.

One social media user called a friend who told her to call the bank and dispute the charges for Rasheeda concert tickets. “I didn’t even know Rasheeda made music,” she said.

You may not be familiar with Rasheeda’s music, but Atlantans will turn out in force to support their own.

Rasheeda is actually a talented singer, rapper and songwriter who never got her her props. But the Internet can be a toxic place where people routinely mock others for social media content, clicks and views.
