The manosohere erupted when rapper Sexyy Red stepped on the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night at New York’s UBS Arena.
Sexyy Red, born Janae Wherry, 27, is known for her “dirty rap” style of music and her in-your-face attitude. The “Pound Town” rapper wore all-red leather corset, complete with devil’s tail, red lace up boots and a red wig.
One fan wrote on a manosphere board: “If a STD was a person.”
A second person wrote: “I don’t get the appeal with this woman.”
A third person commented: “No matter what, you can not convince me she is s3xy.”
Sexyy Red took her mom to the 2025 MTV VMAs – and they had a blast.
The “Slut Me Out” rapper entertained her social media followers by sharing videos of herself at the awards show.
