President Trump held a Tuesday afternoon press conference to prove he is alive after rumors of his death spread online over the holiday weekend.
Peter Doocy, senior White House correspondent for Fox News, asked Trump, “When did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?”
Trump paused to think carefully about his answer.
“Did you see that?” Doocy asked him.
“No. I didn’t see that,” Trump said before adding, “Last week, I did numerous news conferences. All successful, they went very well.”
Trump went on to repeat rumors he’d heard from people saying he was sick. But he was the picture of health in the Oval Office on Tuesday. He looked tanned and robust, like he just came off the golf course.
“No, I was very active over the weekend,” Trump told the press gathered in the Oval Office on Tuesday. “I’ve been very active over the weekend. I didn’t hear [the death rumor]. That’s some pretty serious stuff,” he added.
Trump: “I did a number of Truths — long Truths — and I think pretty poignant Truths. I was very active over the weekend.”

Doocy also asked Trump about a video that shows someone throwing a “big bag” out of a White House window.
Trump told Doocy that the White House windows are all sealed and bullet-proof.
Doocy showed Trump the video, and Trump said it must be AI-generated.

“No, that’s AI-generated. You can’t open those windows; they’re all heavily armored. I know every window up there.”
