Kourtney Kardashian follows up last year’s Lemme Glow lollipops with a new line of lollipops to improve vaginal health.

On Sunday, Kourtney and Lemme launched her second edition of Lemme Glow probiotics. The first edition, Lemme Glow gummies, was for hair, nails and skin.

The main ingredient in the gummies and the new lollipops is the probiotic bacterium Bacillus coagulans. Note that probiotics uses live (good) bacteria to maintain and improve the microbiome in the vagina.

Last week, I told you doctors recommend showering three times a week – instead of daily – to protect your skin’s delicate microbiome (good bacteria suppresses bad bacteria).

Too much bad bacteria is not good for the skin or the vagina.

Bad bacteria can overwhelm the good bacteria and cause overgrowth of bacteria and fungus, which leads to infections such as vaginosis, yeast infection, and trichomoniasis.

“It can also result in a higher risk of other health conditions, such as recurrent UTIs. Research has even linked certain shifts in the vaginal microbiome to pregnancy complications like preterm birth,” Olivia Cassano of Evvy, told The New York Post.
