NBA YoungBoy abruptly canceled his 2nd concert at State Farm Arena in Atlanta a day after officials denied giving him the key to the city.

The rapper performed at a sold out concert in Atlanta on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at State Farm Arena.

Prior to the concert, the rapper’s rep took to social media to announce that YoungBoy received the key to the city.

However, local officials clarified on Thursday that the City of Atlanta played no role in presenting the promiscuous rapper with the key to the city.

Officials say the key came from lawmakers in Fulton County and the state of Georgia. Atlanta and Fulton County are majority Democrat, but Georgia is a red state.

In an announcement on Thursday night, State Farm Arena staff claimed they made the decision to cancel YoungBoy’s second concert scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18.

But sources say NBA YoungBoy and his crew left Atlanta on Thursday and they had no plans to return on Saturday.

YoungBoy’s fans will be issued refunds for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster. Those who purchased tickets through a third party vendor should reach out to the point of purchase.

On Thursday night, fans expressed their disappointment on X (Twitter).
