Kim Porter’s son Quincy Brown held hands with his sisters, Jessie and D’Lila, and their half sister, Chance, as they arrived to court on Friday.

Also in court supporting Combs were Chance’s mother, Sarah Chapman, music producer Dallas Austin, and Justin’s mother, Misa Hylton.

The 55-year-old Hip-Hop mogul waved and blew kisses to his family in the front row, before shaking hands with his attorneys.

Combs wore a white shirt and dark pants in court. He sat down at the defense table, stretched his back and exhaled. Then put his glasses on and looked over some legal documents.

The defense plans to play a video and 4 attorneys will speak on Combs’ behalf.

A witness, Mia, chose not to speak in court due to “bullying.”

On Thursday night, Combs sent a four page letter to the judge pleading for “mercy” and apologizing for his actions.

Prosecutors recommended 11 years in prison for Combs for transporting male prostitutes across state lines for wild “freak-off” parties.

However, he was acquitted on the more serious RICO counts of human trafficking and racketeering. The jury was convinced that his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was responsible for booking the escorts for freak-offs.

The judge and the prosecution did not agree with the jury’s decision.

“We don’t know what the jury was thinking,” Judge Arun Subramanian said in court.

The judge added: “Mr. Combs said he was paying for time, not xes. That is contradicted by reality. He has not expressed remorse for transporting people for prostitution.”

According to Inner City Press, a prosecution attorney noted that Combs “booked speaking engagements for Miami for NEXT WEEK. That is the height of hubris… He did this for 15 years. He was responsible for transporting many escorts. That’s a lot of freak offs and a lot of hotel nights. He knew it was illegal.”

The lawyer continued: “Even in cases that decline to apply the cross-reference, significant sentences are handed down, including in this District.”

Combs’ legal team has requested a sentence of less than 14 months, plus time served, which would allow him to walk out of court.

Combs has spent 13 months in a Brooklyn detention center since his arrest last September.
