Cynthia Erivo rushed to protect her “Wicked” co-star Ariana Grande from a crazed fan who broke through the crowd and charged toward the singer.

Bodyguards were slow to grab the fan and get him away from the singer/actress.

The scary incident happened during the premiere for “Wicked: For Good” in Singapore on Wednesday.

The fan jumped over a barrier and ran toward Ariana before throwing his arm around her shoulder.

The singer, 32, was signing autographs for fans when the man jumped over a barricade and raced past a photographer toward Ariana. He threw his arm around Ariana as the crowd screamed.

Cynthia quickly got between them and attempted to push the man away. Security guards finally did their jobs, but not before Cynthia made her move.

Cynthia took Ariana’s hand and comforted the star who was shaken by her ordeal.

The man was tackled to the ground and hauled away by security guards. He later posted on social media, saying he was freed after being arrested.

Fans noted he’s a repeat offender who often rushes celebrities and jumps on stage during concerts.
