“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and her producer husband Todd Tucker are divorcing after 11 years of marriage.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Kandi told PEOPLE exclusively.
“I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”

Kandi, 49, and Todd, 52, met while filming the fourth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2011. Todd worked as a line producer on the show.
Kandi announced their engagement in January 2013 and they tied the knot in April 2014. They share 2 children: son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5.
Kandi also has a daughter Riley, 23, from a previous relationship. And Todd has a daughter named Kaela, 29.
Rumors swirled for years that Todd repeatedly stepped out on Kandi. Kandi took off her wedding ring last year. There were rumors that she planned to serve him divorce papers.
