Rapper Glenn Clifton Jr., a.k.a. Young Bleed, died on Saturday, Nov. 1, following complications from a brain aneurysm.
The 51-year-old Baton Rouge native died a week after appearing on the No Limit vs Cash Money Verzuz battle in Las Vegas. He was a rapper on Master P’s No Limit Records label.
Clifton’s death was confirmed by his son, Ty’Gee Ramon, who took to Instagram on Monday to announce that his father “gained his wings” on Saturday.
Clifton was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas days after the Verzuz battle at ComplexCon on October 25.
Tameka Long, the mother of his 10-year-old son, told TMZ he had high blood pressure and heart disease.
A rumor spread that Clifton died last week. But his family said he was in the ICU on a ventilator – a machine that breathes for patients who are unable to breathe on their own.
Clifton’s mom confirmed his hospitalization via a GoFundMe she set up to raise money for his medical expenses.
