The Los Angeles Police Department announced alt-pop singer David Anthony Burke, a.k.a. D4vd, as a suspect in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, “Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect.”
Celeste’s badly decomposed was found in the trunk of Burke’s Tesla Model X on Sept. 8, in Hollywood Hills.
The coroner ruled Celeste’s death a homicide. However, investigators are still awaiting toxicology results.
The weight of the evidence pointed to Burke, who allegedly groomed Celeste on Roblox when she was only 12 years old.
In a bizarre twist, the LAPD reportedly investigated a rumor that Burke mixed the dead teenager’s blood in red paint for his bloody shirt tour merchandise.

The button-down shirts splattered with fake blood were sold for $35 on his official site.
In a live-stream video, David is seen in the same living room holding the type of knife used by hunters to skin animals.
He abruptly removed the bloody shirts from his website days before the FBI executed a search warrant at his $20,000 a month rental property in the Hollywood Hills.
According to reports, authorities contacted fans who purchased the bloody shirts to test the merchandise for forensic evidence.

Celeste reportedly lived with David at 2 rental properties about a mile apart in the Hollywood Hills. There are rumors that she was killed and her body dismembered at one of the rental properties.
There are also rumors that Celeste’s remains were chopped up and stored in a freezer for weeks or months until David went on tour on August 31.

David, 20, and Celeste were allegedly involved in a 3-year relationship that began when she was 12 and he was 18. Her mother reported her missing from the family home in Lake Elsinore, CA. in April 2024.
However, Celeste is seen in photos and videos at her mother’s house after that date.
The teen was last seen online around January 2025. Family members last heard from her in July 2025.
A potential bombshell has dropped in the death investigation of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. A private investigator obtained video that may show the last person driving singer D4vd’s Tesla before Hernandez’s body was found.
