Erica Banks’ mugshot is going viral on social media following her arrest on drug possession charges. The Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star (born Erica Breaux) was arrested during a traffic stop on Buford Highway in Atlanta on Monday, December 8.
Police say the reality TV star was a passenger in a stolen vehicle with a dealer plate that had a tinted tag cover.
Brookhaven police ran the plate and discovered the vehicle was stolen out of Atlanta.
Erica, 27, and the driver of the car, Amani “Dro” Dirton, 25, were ordered out of the vehicle. Police found ecstasy in Erica’s purse, along with marijuana packaged for distribution inside the vehicle.
Erica is charged with felony possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute ecstasy and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Dirton, from Simpsonville, South Carolina, is charged with receiving a stolen vehicle, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and other traffic charges.
They were booked into the DeKalb County Jail and posted bond on Tuesday.
Erica was previously arrested after flying from Atlanta to Houston on a Delta flight with a gun tucked inside her Louis Vuitton purse. The gun’s serial number revealed it was stolen out of South Carolina.
Erica is known as a cast member on Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. She is an aspiring rapper with rap songs like “Buss It” and “Toot That.”
