Muni Long has officially dropped out of Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine Tour” after missing dates in recent weeks due to health reasons.

The 37-year-old singer/songwriter, born Priscilla Hamilton, told fans she will truly miss seeing them and she’s “incredibly grateful for the opportunity.”

She said she’s dropping out of the tour due to health reasons. Fans have noticed Muni gained weight and looked ill recently.

“Thank you to @brandy and @monicadenise for having me and sharing the stage with me,” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see you all again. Stronger than ever.”

The Boy Is Mine tour, featuring Kelly Rowland, Coco Jones, and Jamal Roberts, began in October. Muni misssed the Chicago and Kansas City performances because she had pneumonia. Mya substituted for Muni Long as opener.

Now Mya has been announced as Muni’s official replacement for the rest of the tour.

Some Instagram followers claimed Muni dropped out due to her disagreement with pop icon Mariah Carey.

One person wrote: “And it begins… come for Mariah and it’s gon cost ya.”

It all started in March when Mariah seemed to be in pain while watching Muni cover her classic hit song “We Belong Together” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Muni never got over the diss. She hired a body double to imitate Mariah in her upcoming music video promo for her song “Delulu.”

In the video promo, captioned “R&B legend interrupts audition to sing Delulu for Muni!” – a Mariah Carey impersonator struggles to hit the high notes while auditioning for Muni Long.

The singer, “Miss MC,” rudely barges onto another contestant’s “American Idol”-style audition before telling Muni how to properly sing her own song.

Muni ended the clip by quoting the real Mariah who previously said, “I don’t like when other people sing my songs.”
