Skip Bayless wants the Cleveland Browns to fire head coach Kevin Stefanski for “sabotaging” rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Shedeur had a breakout game on Sunday, becoming the first rookie quarterback to pass for 300+ yards, score 2+ touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown since 1950.

Late in the 4th quarter, losing 29-31, Stefanski switched Shedeur out and replaced him with a running back for the 2-point conversion attempt to tie the game.

The 2-point conversion failed and the Titans narrowly won the game.

Shedeur finished with 364 passing yards, 4 total touchdowns, and 1 interception.

In a livestream after the game, an outraged Skip Bayless demanded the Browns fire Stefanski for sabotaging Shedeur by pulling him out before a 2-point conversion that could have tied the game at 31-31.

“STEFANSKI BLOWS ANOTHER GAME,” Bayless wrote on X (Twitter). “HE JUST COULDN’T STAND SEEING SHEDEUR TIE THE GAME WITH A 2-POINT CONVERSION AFTER SUCH A GREAT LONG TD DRIVE. FIRE STEFANSKI!”

In a follow-up tweet, he wrote: “FIRE KEVIN STEFANSKI SO HE WON’T KEEP SABOTAGING SHEDEUR SANDERS!!!”

“I’m gonna say it again, Kevin Stefanski must be fired!” Bayless said in the video… Kevin Stefanski did not want Shedeur sanders – didn’t even want him in the 5th round. Kevin Stefanski has done everything in his power to keep Shedeur Sanders from succeeding in Cleveland as a 5th round pick against all odds. Even yanking Shedeur again for the potential tying 2-point conversion…”

Bayless continued: “Shedeur Sanders just played by far his best game as a pro. He just threw for 364 yards, and 3 touchdowns, and led the Browns in rushing, and scored a rushing touchdown from 7 yards. Clutch, clutch, clutch.”

Sheduer’s mother, Pilar, also vented her frustration at Stefanski.

“You know, this (expletive) wildcat is bull (expletive),” she said in a deleted post. “We r all done with seeing this [for] so many reason cuz we ALL SEE [sic].”

Shedeur will remain the Browns’ starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, Stefanski said on Monday.
