(L-R) Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall and Chase Infiniti were honored at the Critics’ Choice Association’s 8th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on December 9.
The actresses received the Ensemble Award for their work in the movie One Battle After Another.

Teyana wore a Nicholas Oakwell Couture Millicent Hearst lace corset embroidered gown with asymmetric fringe.

She completed her lewk with black slingback pumps and Simone x Tomo Sumi ear jacket earrings.

The Ensemble Award was presented by the film’s director, Paul Thomas Anderson. The three actors praised one another and their castmates onstage.

The event was hosted by comedian and actor Jay Pharoah with a musical performance by Aiyana-Lee (Highest 2 Lowest).

Academy Award–winning director Spike Lee (center) received the Career Achievement Award, and director Ryan Coogler (right) earned Best Director Award for his film “Sinners.” They posed with Sinners star Michael B. Jordan.
“Where does one start with Spike Lee?” Coogler asked when introducing the iconic filmmaker. “Without Spike and his work, the reality is I’m not here. And I know that I’m not the only one in this room that would give that assessment.”

Jay Pharoah echoed that sentiment. “Spike Lee was the beacon for every Black kid who wanted to expand their talent through the lens of cinema,” the comedian said.
“[Coogler] inspired so many filmmakers in this generation,” Pharoah added, “in the same fashion as Spike Lee has done for the past 40 years.”
