San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White (right) was shot after arguing with rapper Lil Baby at a post-Super Bowl party early Monday.

Keion, 27, was shot in the ankle at a strip club in San Francisco after watching his former team, the New England Patriots lose to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60.

Keion hosted a Super Bowl after-party upstairs at Dahlia Lounge in San Francisco. Rapper Lil Baby and his entourage attended another party downstairs.

A heated argument ensued when Lil Baby and his crew attempted to gain entry to Keion’s party, but they were denied.

As Keion argued with Lil Baby, someone fired at least 4 gunshots, striking Keion once in the ankle.

He underwent surgery to remove the bullet on Monday at a local hospital. Police say Keion is not cooperating in the investigation. There were no suspects in custody as of Wednesday morning.

Evidence of at least two different types of ammunition were found at the scene.

Police are trying to determine Lil Baby’s involvement in the shooting.

“Our officers are working diligently on this investigation, and we’re following multiple leads,” Evan Sernoffsky, of the SFPD, told NBC’s Bay Area affiliate.

The 49ers issued a statement on Monday: “Keion White was a victim of a shooting and sustained a bullet wound to his ankle this morning in San Francisco. He is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. We will provide further updates when appropriate.”
