Rap mogul Jay-Z silenced bloggers after his name turned up in the DOJ’s 3.5 million documents dump connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Jay-Z’s camp sent take-down notices to blogs such as The Shade Room and others that reported Jay-Z’s alleged link to the Epstein files.

The Shade Room quickly deleted the post about Jay-Z. But social media users accused the Instagram blog of covering up for Beyoncé’s husband.

Now a 2017 video has resurfaced on X (Twitter) that shows Jay-Z with Hollywood outcast Harvey Weinstein, who is currently incarcerated at Rikers Island in New York City.

Weinstein was convicted of s*xual assault and is awaiting more trials on similar charges.

In the 2017 video, a reporter asked Jay-Z about President Donald Trump and mass incarceration.

“Not gonna answer that,” Jay-Z said while shaking his head and backing away from the reporter.

Weinstein then stepped in to shut down the reporter. “You know what, this is a labor of love for Jay, and as a result he’s my friend. We’re here to talk about that and nothing else.”

The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne roasted the “un-serious journalists” who covered Jay-Z’s alleged link to the Epstein files. He noted the information came from a tip to the FBI by “some random person” in 2019.

“They aren’t backed by court findings, indictments, confirmed evidence. If you actually read the stories, they just simply don’t make any sense,” he said.
