Beyoncé’s mom, Miss Tina Knowles is bringing her award-winning “Mama Tina’s Gumbo” to the 2026 Houston Rodeo that kicks off on March 2nd.
In a new video on her Instagram page, Tina strolls into her kitchen while wearing a black outfit with black cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. The 1966 hit song “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'” by Nancy Sinatra plays in the background.
Tina said, “You know it’s not my first rodeo or my first pot of gumbo. I’ve been doing this for years and people have been asking for this gumbo.”
Tina’s “handsome cowboy partners: Adrian and Daniel” will help debut her gumbo at the 2026 Houston Rodeo.
She invited her followers to “Come by and get a bowl of this gumbo. You won’t regret it.”
Tina captioned the video: “Houston, please come [to] our booth at the Houston rodeo 2026 to get yourself a cup of my delicious Creole Gumbo. Me and my partners, Daniel Smith and Adrian Blackmon are debuting Mama Tina’s Gumbo. So please come by and try a bowl.”
Actress Terri Vaughn wrote in the comments section: “I knew that was your walk!! Love it.”
Tina responded to Terri, writing, “i have to save you some Gumbo.”
Tina’s followers want to be served hot gumbo by her grandson, Daniel, and Adrian.
