Kelly, 41, clapped back at the rumors on social media. She suggested she was “going through something” and not taking weight-loss drugs.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”

Kelly said she won’t allow the gossip to dehumanize her.

“None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character,” she continued. “I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”

In 2024, Kelly admitted she was taking Ozempic for weight loss.

The aspiring singer revealed in an exclusive interview with E! that she is supportive of anyone who takes the diabetes drug to lose weight.

“I think it’s amazing,” Kelly told E! News on the red carpet.

“There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something that isn’t as boring as working out?”
