EGOT winner Viola Davis took home the prestigious Chairman’s Award at the 2026 NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California on Saturday, February 28.
“Our crown has already been bought and paid for, all we have to do is wear it,” Viola said during her acceptance speech. She wore a burgundy one shoulder pleated gown by Marmar Halim with exclusive LAGOS high jewelry pieces.
Viola attended the awards with her husband Julius Tennon and daughter, Genesis Tennon.
The NAACP Awards are presented annually by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to honor the best in film, television, theatre, music, literature and more.
