In 2025 Cardi B and vlogger Tasha K agreed to a $1.2 million settlement to end their contentious defamation lawsuit.

In 2022, the rapper won a $4 million default judgment against the popular YouTuber for defamation.

Tasha K agreed to pay Cardi B nearly $15,000 a month with the amount escalating yearly until the $1.2 million debt is paid off in 5 years.

I spoke to Tasha K by phone on February 5, and she told me she has been keeping up with her payments to Cardi B as agreed.

Now comes word that Cardi B asked a judge for a personal review of Tasha K’s finances in her Florida bankruptcy case.

On Feb. 27, Cardi’s attorneys filed a motion in Tasha K’s Florida bankruptcy case, asking permission to review her bank records and personal finances in person.

In addition, Cardi is asking Tasha’s companies, Yelen Entertainment LLC and Stash Money Works LLC, to disclose the earnings of her YouTube and social media accounts.

Tasha K’s attorney said in a statement to XXL:

“Ms. Kebe is currently in compliance with her confirmed Chapter 11 plan and intends to continue complying with all of its terms. Nothing is pending before the Court that requires additional action from Ms. Kebe beyond fulfilling her obligations under the confirmed plan, which she is doing.”
