President Donald Trump is listed as Tiger Woods’ emergency contact. Woods called Trump after he flipped his SUV while speeding near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida on March 27.
TMZ Sports obtained body cam footage that shows Woods talking on his phone prior to his DUI arrest. He is heard saying, “Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye.”
Woods told police, “Yeah, I was just talking with the President.”
Trump and Woods are not casual friends. Sources tell Naughty But Nice that Trump has been Woods’ emergency contact for years. Woods dates Vanessa Trump, the mother of five of President Trump’s grandchildren. She is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
“Their relationship is much tighter than people realize,” a source tells Naughty But Nice. “This isn’t casual — they talk all the time.”
The insider says Woods is “a loner,” who doesn’t have a large circle of friends. “He keeps people at a distance”
“When your emergency contact is the President, that tells you everything,” the insider said.
Trump and Woods have bonded through golf, business, and their personal lives. Woods reportedly looks up to Trump as a father figure since both of his parents are deceased.
“Tiger respects loyalty,” the source explains. “And he believes Trump has been loyal to him.”
A flight tracker shows Woods’ private jet landed in Zurich, Switzerland last week after a judge gave him permission to leave the country for drug addiction treatment.
Woods has a history of addiction to pain killers stemming from his many back surgeries.
According to reports, Zurich has the most luxurious treatment facilities in the world.
Paracelsus Recovery and Kusnacht Practice are two rehab facilities known for being extremely exclusive, private and very expensive.
