A Bloomsburg (Pennsylvania) University baseball player is without a team today after he sent out a ignorant Tweet about 14-year-old Mo’Ne Davis on Twitter.com over the weekend.
According to Yahoo Sports, Joey Casselberry was the team’s second-leading hitter and played 1st base for the BU Huskies until he was kicked off the team on Saturday.
Bloomsburg school officials didn’t wrestle with their decision on a punishment after Casselberry tweeted out a reference to a movie Disney is making about the young baseball phenom who became the first female in Little League history to pitch a shut out game in the Little League World Series. Mo’Ne was also the first Little League’er to make the cover of Sports Illustrated.
In Casselberry’s feeble mind Mo’Ne should not have a movie made about her because she lost to Nevada in the LLWS last summer.
Casselberry’s Twitter account was deleted after the avalanche of complaints.
“You were way out of line and disrespectful,” Shirley Smith wrote in one tweet. “You should really be ashamed of yourself.”

If in fact he called this 14 y/o child a slut, why would people not react over that? Its disrespectful and uncalled for. Even if he felt like that, he should have never articulated those sentiments. Sometimes the best thing a person can say is nothing.

I am like you face gets wollen, eyes, dizzy spells. For the past two years I have to be tricking my body on OTC and Rx allergy meds just hoping of course I wont get bronchitis. I usually do a Target generic pill in the morning as well as rotate Claritin, Zyrtec and Allegra. Then on weekends I do Singulair. If those mofos didnt cost $180 a bottle I would probably do it more but I have to make that Singulair last an entire year

I really think Andy wants her gone. IMO SHE is the one that brings nothing to the show. She’s good for a good laugh her and there, but she has no depth. And she is a big bully to me. That’s not true. Not everyone sentenced to jail is a criminal. Sometimes people get mixed up with the wrong people at the wrong time. Laws and the justice system are extremely screwed up and innocent people get records everyday. I used to think the same way till it hit extremely close to home.
