Social media is is an uproar over surveillance images that seem to show a worker from a Houston energy company beating 2 family dogs with large pliers.
The two dogs were chilling by the family pool minding their own business when they noticed a stranger entering the pool area. Being friendly dogs, they ambled over to greet their new playmate when — BAM! — the guy knocked the dogs senseless with a pair of large pliers.
According to the NY Post, the homeowner offered to put the dogs inside the house when the man showed up on their property claiming to be from the power company.
But the man said he was fine with the dogs staying outside.
The dogs were treated for head wounds and the homeowner wants answers.
The Houston police and the energy company are looking into the incident which was captured by the homeowner’s security cameras.
At least the guy didn’t shoot the dogs like police officers do when they need target practice.
The man’s only defense is he feared for his life when Snoopy came running over with his tail wagging wanting to play.

When I read about it yesterday, the home owners were saying they asked him if he wanted them to put the dogs up and he said “no”. Later ended up beating the dogs with the wrench. But in today’s news, his boss is defending him saying he was sent there to turn their gas off for failure to pay their gas bill. The home owners got upset and set their dogs loose to attack him. Once the entire footage comes out, I guess then we’ll all know what all transpired. The home owner has surveillance cameras on their property which was how they were able to release some of the footage of the dogs being attacked by the Center Point energy contractor.
It doesn’t even look like contact was made but it was so very dumb of him to say that the dogs didn’t need to be put up if he knew he was scared. Good thing the homeowners didn’t turn around and attack him. People don’t play about their dogs.

Common sense tells me that he probably didn’t fear for his safety until he saw those big dogs coming at him. If he was on the property without notification (which obviously they didn’t make him leave) or if he said they can leave the dogs out, he still has a right to defend himself if he really feared for his safety, point blank and period.

My nephew went through the same thing here except they suspended him because when he yanked away from the old lady choking hom, she tried to press charges because she fell. There were other teachers there too. His dad came to the school and ripped them a new asshole and threatened to sue because his grandma is a lawyer. They dropped the whole thing. This was at another elementary school here too.
