Remember the days when only men ages 18-25 were forced to register for the military draft? Women could join the military on a voluntary basis. They weren’t required to enlist. Well, those days are over.
On Wednesday, the House Armed Services Committee quietly approved a measure requiring all women ages 18-25 begin registering for the military draft in case a war breaks out.
That means your daughter could very well be shipped off to war whether she wants to go or not.
It’s no coincidence that this measure was approved a few months after the Defense Department lifted all gender-based restrictions on women fighting in front-line combat.
The black community will be affected the most as scores of black single mothers will be forced to serve in the military.
You can thank President Obama and other progressive liberals who believe men and women are equal. Liberals believe this country is ready to see women coming home from the war missing their arms and legs.
Until now, women served ancillary roles in the military. They rarely saw any combat action.
Rep. Jackie Speier (who is a biological female) defended the measure, saying:
“I actually think if we want equality in this country, if we want women to be treated precisely like men are treated and that they should not be discriminated against, we should be willing to support a universal conscription.”
The full House will vote on the measure soon, according to the NY Post.
