Pop icon Prince Rogers Nelson reportedly committed suicide inside the elevator of his sprawling 65,000 square foot Paisley Park complex.
The 57-year-old singer was found dead inside the elevator of his $10 million complex which houses a state-of-the-art recording studio and concert hall.
“He had AIDS,” said the industry insider. “Why do you think the family cremated the body so fast?” They didn’t want anybody to know.”
The source said Prince committed suicide inside his elevator because “he was tired of dealing with the sickness.”
“How could he could walk to the elevator if he overdosed on narcotics? That’s the way he planned [his suicide]… to correlate with his song,” the insider said, referring to Prince’s hit song “Let’s Go Crazy,” in which he sings. “Are we gonna let the elevator bring us down?”
The source also disputed rumors that Prince was a longtime opioid addict: “He wasn’t [a drug] addict,” he said.
