For the first time since Donald Trump announced his candidacy, President Obama admits Trump could win the election in November.
“Anything is possible,” a grim Obama told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie in an interview which aired on Wednesday.
Trump leads Clinton in a majority of national polls that also shows 68% of respondents find Clinton to be dishonest.
Prior to Wednesday, Obama was supremely confident that Trump didn’t stand a chance of winning the presidential election.
“I continue to believe Mr. Trump will not be president,” Obama said in February — before Trump won the GOP nomination.
But things have changed drastically for the Democrats since February.
The most impactful change was the release of 20,000 hacked DNC emails that exposed the Democratic party as a bunch of racists, bigots and homophobes.
Emails reveal DNC staffers used homophobic slurs toward the gays and racist slurs toward black people.
Even more emails are set to be released by WikiLeaks — which terrifies Clinton.
In a press conference in Miami this morning, Trump pointed out that Hillary Clinton has not held a press conference since last year.
Trump mocked Clinton, implying that she’s avoiding press conferences because she doesn’t want to answer questions about her email server scandal.
Clinton does not do well at press conferences, because telling the truth is problematic for her.
Clinton’s last press conference was held on December 7. She took just seven questions from reporters.
