Troubled rapper Young Thug premiered the music video for his reggae single “Wyclef Jean”. The music video is a substantive question (and answer) about why Thugga didn’t bother to appear in his own music video.
To his credit, the director made the best out of a low budget situation. The bulk of the budget was spent on toy cars that the video vixens drive.
And while Thugga didn’t bother to show up, he flew in his 9-year-old son to smash up a police car with a rubber baseball bat.
This music video gets a D+ for the visuals of the scantily dressed video vixens and the cute kids busting up a patrol car.
The video is narrated (complete with subtitles) by the video’s co-director, Ryan Staake, who somehow manages to keep the viewer’s attention all the way until the end.
