Rap superstar Drake was forced to push back the start of his European tour due to “unforeseen production setbacks”. Insiders whisper that the unforeseen setbacks are slow ticket sales.
Musicians are wary of performing if dates are not sold out because fans shame them by sending video footage and images of half empty stadiums to Theshaderoom and other Instagram blogs.
The hitmaker was forced to schedule opening dates of The Boy Meets World Tour in Amsterdam, Holland on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27, but both dates have been rescheduled – again.
The dates were originally set for Jan. 20 and Jan. 21, but Drake rescheduled them last year.
A statement from Netherlands-based concert and festival organiser Mojo Concerts reads: “Earlier we informed Drake fans on the rescheduling of his Ziggo Dome concerts. We are very sorry to inform you again that the Drake concerts on January 26 (original date January 20) and January 27 (original date January 21) in the Ziggo Dome have been moved to new dates.
Dates from January 28 will take place as scheduled… hopefully.
