While some of us pray that President Donald Trump will curtail his tweeting, at least one person in the Trump administration thinks Trump’s tweets are fantastic.
In a recent interview, Omarosa Manigault said, “I think it’s fantastic that the President is able to speak directly to the American people. He doesn’t have to go through the filter of the media to [misinterpret] what he says or what he means.”
Omarosa, who appeared on Trump’s reality TV shows “The Apprentice” and “The Celebrity Apprentice” with Trump, holds the esteemed title of Director of Communications for the White House’s Office of Public Liaison.
Ms. Manigault lauded President Trump’s commitment to completing his campaign promises in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
“You look at what we have accomplished to date, everyone knows that we are going to do exactly what we said we were going to do,” she said. “Every single promise he made we’ve outlined and we are checking off one by one.”
Among Trump’s promises was to build a wall at the southern border to cut down on foot traffic from south of the border.
Trump, who made his billions in construction and real estate, is currently in the process of accepting bids from contractors to build the wall.
“We started to bring jobs to areas and identifying companies that would keep their business here in the United States,” said Omarosa. “The first thirty days, already we have done so much and we have so much to go.”
