I am from Boston and I’m mad that I moved to GA two years ago. Im going to miss all the celebration and parades..ugh. But congrats to them. I wish my mom was still alive to see her team win the finals. All NE teams are on fire.

I feel you! We moved from Boston a few years ago also just when all the championships were rolling in and missed all the celebrations! Not much to celebrate here in GA… We are making sure that we get to this one!

I was overjoyed at his “crying” and snotting reaction. He was so happy. I was jumping up and down when he was so overcome with emotion.
Then I busted out laughing when he did his shout-out to “Mama and Peanut”. I was on the fucking floor!!!!!!!!
Then who was dude (I have no idea of his name but he had better been a player) that was in the background looking like somebody’s cousin that just got up on stage and grabbed hats and T-shirts and started passing them out. I affectionately name him “Peanut”.
Then did yall see all the groupies that made it past security. They were out there with their claws in the arms of the players, coaches, refs, water boys, parking attendants, scorekeepers, janitors….whatever they could get their acrylics on.
But all in all as KG said:

I am in part excited for Doc Rivers…BUT I am a Lakers Fan. Not a bandwagon FAN, but a back in da Kareem days fan, when I use to watch the game with my dad. The LAKERS gave up last night, once the Celtics past them by more than 20 pts. They just gave up…hell!, the team,the fans, Coach Phil, the sports annoucers, all gave up. IT was no way they could win with that energy pulsating through the arena.
