The family of Jan Adams, the surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mother a day before she died, lashed out at the musician who planned to feature Adams’ mugshot on his album.
In a text exchange with a friend, Kanye said he chose the mugshot for is cover because he wanted to forgive Adams, who performed liposuction and breast reduction surgery on Donda West in 2007. She died the next day at age 58.
In a series of profanity-laced posts on social media, Adams’ family member named @MrsRollinDiva posted a meme of the rap producer and President Trump in an intimate pose.
She also called Kanye an “attention-seeking narcissist”; suggested his music was “garbage” and urged him to feature “your dragon brother Trump” on his album cover.
In subsequent tweets, @MrsRollinDiva said Kanye blocked her on Twitter.com so she couldn’t see any of the Kardashians’ tweets.
It isn’t clear if Kanye will follow through on his plan to feature Adams’ mugshot on his album cover.
Adams spoke out about the cover in a cryptic text message exchange with The Blast blog on Monday, saying West’s move was a “MacGuffin” – Aterm used by famed director Alfred Hitchcock that means a character who is believed to be hugely important but is really only included to further the plot.
Adams, who lost 2 malpractice lawsuits prior to Donda West’s surgery, surrendered his California medical license in 2009 after a string of DUI arrests. His license was reinstated in 2013, but it was revoked again in 2014 after he failed to comply with a court order to attend rehab.
Adams, 64, can no longer practice medicine in California.
