Former NBA star Matt Barnes and his live-in girlfriend, Anansa Sims shared a sweet family photo with their newborn baby son, Ashton Joseph Barnes.
Barnes, 38, announced his son’s birth on Instagram.com on Saturday, Dec. 8.
“Just in time for the Holidays … Ashton Joseph Barnes aka “AJ” 8lbs 13oz 22.5 inches @anansasims #ThreeKings”.
Barnes has 10-year-old twin sons, Carter and Isaiah, by reality TV star Gloria Govan.
On Tuesday, the couple shared adorable photos while bonding “skin-to-skin” with Ashton in the maternity ward in Tarzana, Calif.
Anansa captioned the images,
“I couldn’t have done it without you my Love .. You talked me through every push… held my hand… and said exactly what I needed to hear to get our little man here .. #foreverlove #blessed”.
Social media users criticized Anansa, 39, for wasting no time getting knocked up by Barnes after ending her marriage to the father of her 3 minor children, ages 5-7, in 2017.
Anansa turns 40 later this month. Doctors urge women to consider other options if they want to become mothers after age 35.
