Never one to shy away from controversy, R&B singer Rihanna’s dancers were spotted toting pink shotguns at a rehearsal for her almost sold out LOUD Tour. “They can say whatever, I’mma do whatever” sings Rihanna as the male and female dancers twirl the automatic weapons like batons behind her at an undisclosed location.
Rihanna recently came under fire for violence depicted in her “Man Down” music video. In the opening scenes, she produces a handgun and shoots her rapist dead in a crowded train station. Anti-violence groups condemned Rihanna’s “Man Down” video. But the controversy helped draw millions more viewers on YouTube, and no doubt helped her sell more LOUD albums.
