As we told you on Monday, Rihanna’s music video for her current single “We Found Love” would premiere this week. The music video highlights Rihanna’s disturbing tendency to cling to unavailable men such as Chris Brown and Matt Kemp. Then when these men predictably abuse her (verbally or physically), instead of moving on with her life she blames them for her own inadequacies and spirals emotionally out of control.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s successor, singer Miranda Brooke (pictured above), held a meet and greet for New York’s music industry yesterday. Unlike Rihanna, Miranda is a talented singer who has a long, promising career ahead of her.

The obvious drug use the scene where they are in a field is suppose to portray a rave… Her sex scenes with him aren’t bad but how flashy the video is to me is also symbolic of living life in the fast lane the message is sad imo it shows she isn’t in a good place at all

Yeah, the drug use and all that stuff was a bit much, but I think she’s being very edgy and racy with this stuff to show where her head was at or where it is still at regarding Chris. I was in this type of relationship about 7 or 8 years ago and it’s nothing nice when it comes to how much you become “consumed” with that person…she seems like she may still be depressed about the situation…she needs serious therapy…

Woot for this video. Many of us can relate to being with someone you love so much but should run from in the opposite direction while screaming for help. It is just her take on her emotions and I can see how helpless she has become in the need to rehash all those good and bad feelings she once had.

I typically don’t tap into my cockney accent unless I am speaking to my family in the UK and then you would not realize it is me speaking.

And generally when I am speaking I don’t speak with a Caribbean dialect but I can pop it out when I am good and ready.
The video was shot in Ireland. The voice has an Irish accent but I don’t think it’s hers.

Remember when she had that boobies across the field incident. It was an Irish Farmer. And I just goggled, it was definitely Ireland.
In any event, I think she did a good job acting. I don’t particularly care much for her or the attitude she shows. I do believe she’s a lot more sensitive on the inside than the tough girl persona she portrays. I feel bad for her. She probably never learned the proper way to deal with emotions or have to have a successful relationship with a man.
