Thanks for putting up the Traitor post, of course you’re like the only mainstream “black entertainment” blog that would. It’s interesting that all of a sudden black people don’t care anything about race so long as Obama is the perp. I’m now wondering just how low and blatant will Obama have to go before the kool aid drinkers will wake up and I’m wondering where are all of the so called black leaders now that a one of only two black governors in the coutry needs some help. In the words of Kanye West, Barack Obama doesn’t care about black people.
The only thing I’ve seen Patterson do while in office was give Slick Rick the right to stay in this country.

If u read all the facts of what Prez Obama is doing why would da Democratic party want to endorse somebody that has approval ratings so low dat the ppl of New York will not vote for him and let a Republican win the seat. They did a poll and I can’t remeber exactly but the governor approval ratings were like 12% and nobody said they would re-elect him. With the Republicans thinking they have a good chance of winning back enough votes in da house why would he back a loser? The person dat Obama wants to run has a approval rating of over 50% so get da facts rite. A grape and cherry flovored Kool-Aid drinker!!!!!!

obama is supporting governor corzine(a white democrat) of new jersey across the bridge whose chancesof being re-elected are just as slim as patterson but yet he refuses or worst of all has the nerve to tell patterson not to run??? lmao 2010 will be a bloodbath for democrats…i`m enjoying the circus

luvly1957 & african_dude, okay i have heard the same argument from both sides of your defense. from my understanding whatever democrat runs they will have to go up against Giuliani who is claiming to want to run again. however, even with the amount of gay support in ny, many are upset about his accepts of gay marriage and the fact that he has “supposedly only freed slick rick”. his approval rating is about as strong as obamas right now and rightly so if they are doing about the same amount of work. i mean come on and lets be fair about the argument. the ny seat is very precious for whichever side may win, so of course everyone is going to support whomever they think will win. okay that is my political minute for the day, carry on.

Well i’m from nyc…..and ultimately its up to the people of nyc to make that choice…and u know…..gov patterson doesn’t stand a chance. I’d much rather cuomo…yeah i said.

How is it that the same people that call Obama supporters ‘kool aid drinkers’ because we supposedly support him no matter what ‘just because he’s black’ wants us to get angry because we don’t make a hizzy fit over Obama asking Patterson not to re-run just because HE’S black?? What flavor kool-aid are YA’LL drinking?? Do your homework, Obama needs to keep that Democratic seat.
As far as Obama supporting Corzine vs. Christie. Corzine is a Democrat. Christie is Republican. There you go…

@african_dude, lets be clear. I was just trying to give a balanced objective of what is being debated from both sides, so those who have no clue what is being discussed could understand. Be clear on this, I am definitely Team Obama and like many others I want to see him succeed, and I am the first to get in that BUTT when he does something I think is ridiculous. But with that said, you have got to be kidding me if you think that right now ANY black who has not made substantial contributions to the their delegates are even going to be considered. Whether you blame this is on Obama’s (perceived failures), politricks, or just straight up racism this country is not going to have it. They have seen their quota of us! (period) Now, I do not always agree with Sandra, (Lord knows she can be WAY out there sometimes)but these Republicans are not playing and how many minorities from the Democratic side are going to rally up at the polls the same way the Republics will for this next set of elections. Okay, I am off the clock now. Gotta go!
