Rosie O’Donnell, right, is single again after reportedly splitting from her fiancee, police officer Elizabeth Rooney. O’Donnell and Rooney broke off their year-long engagement.
The 57-year-old actress and comedienne became engaged to Rooney in October 2018 after dating about 6 months. O’Donnell removed references to Rooney from her social media.
Rooney also removed any references to their engagement from her Instagram page, including a post in which she showed off her new engagement ring in October, 2018.
Rooney, 34, is an Army veteran, undefeated Army boxer and a police officer in Boston. She continued to live alone in Boston even after their engagement.
The marriage would have been O’Donnell’s third. She was previously wed to Michelle Rounds, who died by suicide in 2017, and Kelli Carpenter from 2004 to 2007. O’Donnell has five children through adoption and artificial insemination.
