Criminals are having a field day in Democrat-controlled New York City where the no cash bail reform law went into effect on January 1.
The no cash bail reform law, enacted by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio, ends cash bail for “non-violent” crimes.
Petty crimes are “through the roof,” according to New Yorkers on social media. One social media user posted a video showing a New York resident destroying makeup counters at Bloomingdales in New York City.
Well-heeled shoppers fled as the man turned over display tables and smashed glass counters.
If the man is arrested, he will be back on the streets within hours, thanks to the no bail reform law.
