A 51-year-old man who went on a shooting spree at Miller Coors brewing company in Milwaukee complained repeatedly to HR about racism and harassment in the workplace.
Anthony Ferrill, who is Black, was a former employee who killed five people before turning the gun on himself on Wednesday afternoon.
Ferrill made multiple complaints about racist incidents in the workplace at the Miller Coors brewery.
The allegations came to light in a Facebook post by a Milwaukee businessman who explained “the reason why our Brother snapped at Miller Coors!”
Tony Muhammad wrote: “Why isn’t local news asking the why questions? Miller Brewing in Milwaukee has a long and present-day history of employment/on the job discrimination against African American males.”
He said Ferrill suffered racial discrimination and harassment from white co-workers. He recently filed a civil lawsuit against Miller Coors’s racist work environment, that included a noose hung on his locker.
